~~Sun tea~~๐ŸŒž This beautiful recipe is a sure f ~~Sun tea~~๐ŸŒž

This beautiful recipe is a sure fire way to bring some warmth to these chilly winter days.๐ŸŒž

This is actually a โ€œsummerโ€ tea, as the infusion takes on the energy of the sunโ€™s warming rays.๐ŸŒž

But, being a herbalist is all about being creative too, so why not make this on a sunny winterโ€™s day?!๐Ÿง™โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿฆ‰

You can source the herbs in dried form from your local health food store.
My favourite supplier is @southernlightherbs ๐ŸŒฟ
You can replace the red clover with fresh calendulaโ€ฆ.or any other sun loving herb. ๐ŸŒผ

Recipe:โค๏ธ
1 cup red clover blossoms
1 cup red raspberry leaf
1/2 cup hibiscus flowers
1/2 cup dried orange peel

Method:๐ŸŒž
Mix the herbs and store in an airtight container
To make the tea, add 1/2 to 1 cup of the blend to a 1 litre jar.
Pour filtered water over the herbs and let it sit in the sun all day.
Strain and enjoy.
The tea lasts 3 days in the fridge.
